Vínculos Territoriales en las Misiones Jesuíticas-Guaraníes de Paraguay, Argentina y Brasil: un Enfoque de Análisis de Redes.

Summary

This study reveals the spatial interactions and territorial dynamics of the Jesuit-Guarani missions, a renowned tourist route spanning Paraguay, Argentina, and Brazil. By integrating qualitative and quantitative techniques with network analysis software (Gephi) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), researchers mapped the relationships between these historical sites, highlighting how tourism flows shape their interconnectedness. The concept of 'friction of space' was employed to elucidate the complexities of these territorial links, offering new insights into the spatial organization and heritage significance of this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
