Summary

A study on Pamukkale, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Turkey, reveals that emotional arousal significantly influences tourists' post-experience behaviors. The research identifies four dimensions of tour experiences—escapism, education, entertainment, and esthetics—which collectively shape visitors' emotions and satisfaction. Using the 4E model (Escapism, Education, Entertainment, Esthetics) as a framework, the study found that escapism, entertainment, and esthetics positively impact emotional arousal, which in turn drives post-experience intentions such as satisfaction and repeat visits. The findings were derived from a questionnaire analyzed using Structural Equitation Model (SEM), providing insights into how emotional responses mediate tourist behavior at heritage sites.
