Summary
Advanced representation technologies, including surveying and 3D modeling, significantly enhance the vulnerability assessment of historic structures within UNESCO World Heritage Sites. This study demonstrates how these techniques can be applied to optimize preventive conservation strategies for the Temple of Neptune, the Sphinx, and the Metope in Paestum's Archaeological Park. By accurately detecting risk situations, such methods enable minimally invasive maintenance practices, improving both economic efficiency and cultural preservation outcomes. The research highlights the potential of systematic 3D modeling to streamline restoration cycles while minimizing intervention costs.
