Summary
A networked approach to community-based tourism (CBT) has been identified as a key factor for sustainable tourism development within Thailand's UNESCO World Heritage Corridor, comprising Sukhothai, Si Satchanalai, and Kamphaeng Phet. Social network analysis (SNA) using Gephi revealed that informal relationships and formal support mechanisms—such as tourism clubs and public associations—enhance community engagement and collaboration with government agencies like DASTA 4. These networks foster social interaction, improve network efficiency, and help preserve the corridor's unique cultural heritage while aligning with national economic goals. The study proposes guidelines to empower local communities, ensuring long-term sustainability in tourism management.
