Summary

A comprehensive economic analysis reveals that Ujung Kulon National Park's Marine Conservation Area (MCA) holds significant economic potential, with a total value of IDR2.6 trillion from its mangrove and coral reef ecosystems. Financial and economic feasibility studies demonstrate strong viability, with Net Present Values exceeding zero, Net Benefit/Cost ratios above 19, and Internal Rates of Return surpassing the Minimum Attractive Rate of Return (MARR) by nearly 40%. These findings underscore the MCA's practicality in enhancing local economic well-being while supporting sustainable management practices. The study employed survey research, overall economic valuation, and financial/economic feasibility analysis to quantify these benefits.
