Summary
A positive tourist experience satisfaction was achieved through the integration of selected narratives from Borobudur's legend into tourism practices, highlighting the significance of travel experiences in heritage tourism development. This study focuses on two main aspects: the narratives and their storytelling, including creativity in tour amenities and guide competencies. Using survey and focus group interview methods, the research demonstrates that channeling these narratives can effectively enhance tourist satisfaction while promoting the conservation of cultural heritage. The findings underscore the potential of narrative-driven tourism to inform heritage tourism policies in Indonesia, balancing visitor experience with preservation efforts.
