Summary
A survey of amphibian species (Order Anura) in Ujung Kulon National Park, Indonesia, identified 10 distinct species across five families, with the family Dicroglossidae being the most prevalent. The study, conducted between June and July 2021, used Visual Encounter Surveys combined with line transects at four key locations: Handeulum Island, Cigenter, Peucang Island, and Cidaon. Environmental factors such as temperature (25-30°C), soil moisture (62-69%), air humidity (80-89%), light intensity (832-1443 lux), and soil pH (6.5-6.7) were recorded, revealing significant variation in amphibian composition linked to habitat differences. Peucang Island and Cidaon stations showed the highest species diversity, highlighting the park's ecological complexity.
