Research reveals that building stones from the Elazığ-Nevşehir region, including Nemrut and Ali Dağ stones, exhibit favorable physical properties for construction, such as low thermal conductivity and high durability. These stones, renowned locally for their ease of processing and thermal characteristics, were analyzed for their mechanical strength, water absorption, and thermal performance. The study compared samples from multiple quarries to assess their suitability in energy-efficient and long-lasting structures, highlighting their potential advantages over other construction materials.
