Summary

Vigan City's festivals, rooted in history and cultural significance, have evolved to foster community pride, patriotism, and remembrance. The study reveals that these events, including the Vigan City Fiesta, Viva Vigan Binatbatan Festival of the Arts, World Heritage Cities Solidarity Cultural Festival, and Raniag Twilight Festival, play a pivotal role in preserving and promoting Vigan's heritage. Through historical research design, interviews with 35 participants, observations, and document analysis, the study highlights the challenges faced by local governments in organizing these festivals while emphasizing the need for collaboration with national and international organizations to enhance their impact. Ethical guidelines were strictly adhered to throughout the research process.
