Summary
A multi-layer perceptron (MLP) hydrological model was successfully developed to predict water levels near Hahoe Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site adjacent to the Nakdong River. The model, trained using error back-propagation algorithm with water level and rainfall data from 2012–2013, demonstrated effective prediction performance when tested on untrained 2014 data. This approach provides a robust tool for monitoring flood risks in culturally significant areas, enhancing disaster preparedness strategies.
