Summary

Tourism safety perception mediates the relationship between tourism security factors and traveler intentions, revealing that while security concerns negatively impact travel intentions, they positively influence safety perceptions. The study identifies four key dimensions affecting FIT (Free and Independent Travelers) travel security: safety management environment, tourism environment, travelers themselves, and personnel management. Conducted through a survey of 246 valid respondents at Mount Wuyi in 2018, the research used descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, and linear regression to validate its hypotheses. It concludes with practical measures to mitigate the negative impact of security factors on travel intentions and enhance travelers' safety perceptions.
