A numerical simulation of groundwater flow in the fractured medium of Dazu Rock Carvings reveals distinct hydraulic behaviors in structural fractures and weak intercalations. Using DFNworks software, researchers analyzed caves 176, 177, and 180 in Beishan, identifying that structural fractures exhibit significantly higher hydraulic head and velocity compared to weak intercalations. Under steady seepage conditions, the flow rates were measured at 1.74×10⁻² m³/s for cave 176, 2.3×10⁻² m³/s for cave 177, and 0.71×10⁻² m³/s for cave 180. This study provides critical insights into the hydrogeological conditions affecting the site's water seepage diseases, which were classified based on occurrence frequency, location, and preservation status.
